We are RideSetu — India's verified carpooling community built for daily commuters, not one-off cab seekers. Every shared seat is one less car on the road, one less litre of fuel burnt, and one new neighbour you'd never have met.
Our story
RideSetu started in Surat with a single question: why do five neighbours drive five empty cars to the same office every morning? The answer was simple — there was no trusted way to share. Strangers felt unsafe. Cab apps surge-priced the commute. WhatsApp groups vanished into chaos.
We built RideSetu as the bridge — setu — between drivers with empty seats and commuters who already share the same route. Members verify their Aadhaar, DL, RC and insurance once. Rides start with a 4-digit OTP. The fare is flat ₹5/km, with 90% going to the driver. No surge. No bargaining. No surprises.
Today, thousands of verified members share rides across Surat's busiest corridors, and we're expanding to more Indian cities every month.
